Encouragement
'Bear one another's burdens," Paul exhorts the body
of believers. None of us is in this alone. 'The hand cannot say to the foot,
I have no need of you.' There is a great need for encouragement in the Body
of Christ. He distributes the gifts "severally," our gifts varying. And the
gift we have is not for ourselves, but for the body. If you are depressed
or feeling alone, reach out to someone else in need. Your own lack
will soon be forgotten.
